Quacquarelli Symonds. The QS system now comprises the global overall and
subject rankings, alongside five independent regional tables (Asia, Latin
America, Emerging Europe and Central Asia, the Arab Region, and BRICS).
QS publish
ranking of World universities every year based on subjects, overall, and
region.
According to
latest ranking of QS published in 2019 Following seven Pakistani universities
are ranked in top 1000 world universities. From this ranking we can say that
following are Pakistan’s top universities
PIEAS (Pakistan
Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences) is Pakistan’s Number One
University.
NUST (National
University of Science and Technology) is at number two.
QAU (Quaid I
Azam University, Islamabad) is at number three.
LUMS (Lahore
University of Management Sciences) is at number four.
COMSATS
Institute of Information Technology is at number five.
UET Lahore
is at number six.
University
of Punjab is at number seven.
